MapleStory Jett Guide Beginner Skill Build

MapleStory Retro Rockets Retro Rockets (Passive)
Permanently increases Movement Speed, Max Movement Speed, and Jump.
LV1: +50 Movement Speed +50, +30 Max Movement Speed, +20 Jump.

MapleStory Core Aura Core Aura
Surrounds true owner of the Core with a powerful aura that enhances abilities.
LV1: Increases All Stats including Weapon/Magic Attack based on Jett’s Level!
NOTE: The Core Aura uses Variable Buff System to allocate bonus stat to STR, DEX, INT, LUK, Weapon Attack and Magic Attack. Therefore, each and every Jett character will have different unique bonus stat gained via Core Aura. You can reset the Core Aura stat by purchasing Supernova Dust (NX Item) or get Star Dust from monsters. Also, your Jett must be at least Level 120 and the Core has been completed to be able to reset stats.

MapleStory Comet Booster Comet Booster (Passive)
Permanently increases Accuracy, Max Movement Speed, and Jump.
LV1: +22 Accuracy, +2 Max Movement Speed, +1 Jump.
LV10: +220 Accuracy, +20 Max Movement Speed, +10 Jump.

MapleStory Shadow Heart Shadow Heart (Passive)
Permanently increases Critical Rate and minimum Critical Damage.
LV1: +2% Critical Rate, +1% Minimum Critical Damage.
LV10: +20% Critical Rate, +10% Minimum Critical Damage.

MapleStory Tornado Uppercut Tornado Uppercut (Active)
Attacks 6 enemies with a super-fast uppercut.
LV1: -17 MP, 274% Damage.
LV20: -23 MP, 350% Damage.

MapleStory Glide Blast Glide Blast (Active)
Tumble forward during a jump. Distance increases as skill level increases.
LV1: -11 MP, jumps a certain distance
LV10: -20 MP, jumps a certain distance

MapleStory Double Shot Double Shot (Active)
Attacks an enemy twice with 2 gun shots.
LV1: -4 MP, 127% Damage.
LV20: -7 MP, 165% Damage.

Summary: (61SP in 1st Job)
Everything maxed except Double Shot (11/20)

Skill Build:
1. Add 1 SP into Tornado Cut and Double Shot.
2. Max Glide Blast followed by Comet Booster and Shadow Heart.
3. Max Tornado Cut and dump remaining SP into Double Shot.

Explanation:
Tornado Uppercut is far better than Double Shot because it can kill multiple enemies at once. Leveling with Tornado Uppercut alone will not be efficient since its a close combat skill. Therefore, max Glide Blast and Comet Booster first to gain additional speed boost before maxing Tornado Uppercut. You will only need at least 10 SP in Double Shot to unlock Triple Fire (Jett 2nd Job Attack Skill).

MapleStory Gun Mastery Gun Mastery (Passive)
Permanently increases gun mastery and accuracy.
LV1: 12% Gun Mastery, +6 Accuracy.
LV20: 50% Gun Mastery, +120 Accuracy.

MapleStory Gun Booster Gun Booster (Supportive)
Temporarily doubles gun attack speed. Requires LV5 Gun Mastery.
LV1: -30 MP, Lasts 10 sec.
LV20: -11 MP, Lasts 200 sec.

MapleStory Triple Fire Triple Fire (Active)
Attacks an enemy 3 times with a gun. Requires LV10 Double Shot.
LV1: -10 MP, 124% Damage.
LV20: -16 MP, 181% Damage.

MapleStory Dark Clarify Dark Clarity (Supportive)
Temporary increases weapon attack and accuracy.
LV1: -15 MP, +1 Weapon ATT, +84 Accuracy: 84, Lasts 66 sec.
LV20: -24 MP, +30 Weapon ATT, +160 Accuracy, Lasts 180 sec.

MapleStory Static Thumper Static Thumper (Active)
Attack 6 enemies with a pounding shockwave.
LV1: -18 MP, 455% Damage.
LV20: -30 MP, 550% Damage.

MapleStory Perserverance Perseverance (Passive)
Recovers HP and MP over time.
LV1: +1% HP and MP every 19 sec.
LV15: +8% HP and MP every 5 sec.

MapleStory Physical Training Physical Training (Passive)
Permanently improves STR and DEX through sheer physical training
LV1: +3 STR, +3 DEX.
LV10: +30 STR, +30 DEX.

Summary: (121 SP in 2nd Job)
Everything maxed except Static Thumper (16/20)

Skill Build:
1. Cap Static Thumper at Level 16.
2. Max Physical Training followed by Dark Clarity and Perseverance.
3. Max Gun Mastery followed by Gun Booster and Triple Shot.

Explanation:
Cap Static Thumper at Level 12 to have sufficient SP to max Triple Shot which will be used later to unlock Jett 4th Job Attack Skill – Rapid Fire! Next, max Physical Training and Dark Clarity to improve all skill damage and max Perseverance to last longer in training (less HP/MP Potion consumption means more meso savings and save time from traveling to potion shop for refill). Static Thumper is not affected by Gun Mastery, so you don’t need to max that one early. You can add 1 SP into Triple Fire before maxing Gun Mastery and Gun Booster to play with it!

Attacks 6 enemies twice with scatter shot.
LV1: -20 MP, 355% Damage.
LV30: -40 MP, 500% Damage.

MapleStory High Life High Life (Passive)
Permanently increases Weapon + Magic defense and max HP + MP.
LV1: +2% Defense, +30 Max HP MP.
LV20: +30% Defense, +600 Max HP MP.

MapleStory Gamma Missle Gamma Missile (Active)
Attack 6 enemies with a powerful missile that can knock-back them 400 pixels.
LV1: -23 MP, 204% Damage, 658% Explosion Damage.
LV20: -35 MP, 280% Damage, 734% Explosion Damage.

MapleStory Cutting Edge Cutting Edge (Passive)
Permanently increases Critical Rate and ignore a portion of enemy’s DEF.
LV1: +11% Critical Rate, 1% Enemy DEF Ignored.
LV20: +30% Critical Rate, 20% Enemy DEF Ignored.

MapleStory Roll of the Dice Roll of the Dice (Supportive)
Roll a die to get a random buff. Roll a 1, and you get nothing.
LV1: -40 MP, Buff Lasts 66 sec, Cooldown 500 sec.
LV20: -60 MP, Buff Lasts 180 sec, Cooldown 200 sec.

MapleStory Drone Blast Drone Blast (Active)
Attacks an enemy 8 times with flurry of drone slashes.
LV1: -20 MP, 102% Damage.
LV30: -28 MP, 140% Damage.

MapleStory Turret Deployment Turret Deployment (Supportive)
Summons a turret that attacks enemies nearby.
LV1: -10 MP, 83% Turret Damage, Summon Lasts 20 sec, Cooldown 29 sec.
LV20: -18 MP, 140% Turret Damage, Summon Lasts 30 sec, Cooldown 10 sec.

Summary: (151 SP in 3rd Job)
Everything maxed except Drone Blast (21/30)

Skill Build:
1. Add 1 SP into Solar Array, Gamma Missile and Drone Blast.
2. Max Cutting Edge followed by Solar Array and Roll of the Dice.
3. Max High Life followed by Gamma Missile and Turret Deployment.
4. Dump remaining SP into Drone Blast.

Explanation:
Solar Array will be your primary attacking skill in 3rd Job as it can wipe the map clean with its supreme long wide range attack. Drone Blast is powerful but Rapid Fire (4th Job Skill) simply overpowers this solo skill against 1v1 especially bosses. In short, channel SP into Gamma Missile instead of Drone Blast. Add 1 SP into 3 skills so you have opportunity to test them early.

MapleStory Rapid Fire Rapid Fire (Active)
Attacks an enemy with streams of bullet. Requires LV20 Triple Shot.
Hold down the skill key to constantly fire bullets.
LV1: -6 MP, 243% Damage per shot.
LV30: -9 MP, 330% Damage per shot.

MapleStory Mighty Meteor Mighty Meteor (Active)
Target lock a specific enemy. All succeeding attacks will only affect it and not enemies closest to you. Target will receive extra damage from other attacks thrown by you.
LV1: -25 MP, 458% Damage, +1% Bonus Damage.
LV20: -37 MP, 610% Damage, +20% Bonus Damage.

Maplestory Starfall Starfall (Active)
Summons a spaceship to bombard 15 enemies 3 times around you.
LV1: -350 MP, 404% Damage, 60 sec cooldown.
LV30: -350 MP, 520% Damage, 30 sec cooldown.

MapleStory Double Down Double Down (Supportive)
Roll 2 dice and if both have same number, you receive a powerful buff! Requires LV20 Roll of the Dice. 200 sec cooldown for all levels.
LV1: -60 MP, 10% chance of rolling 2 dice, Buff Lasts 184 sec.
LV5: -60 MP, 50% chance of rolling 2 dice, Buff Lasts 200 sec.

MapleStory Brain Scrambler Brain Scrambler (Active)
Instantly kills an enemy with one shot. Enemies who are immune to instant death suffers epic critical damage that ignores a portion of their defenses.
LV1: -10 MP, 510% Damage, 11% Defense Ignored. 10 sec cooldown.
LV30: -10 MP, 800% Damage, 40% Defense Ignored. 5 sec cooldown.

MapleStory Suborbital Bombardier Suborbital Bombardier (Active)
Attacks 6 enemies 4 times with a sharpshooting gigantic robot guns.
LV1: -25 MP, 474% Damage.
LV30: -55 MP, 590% Damage.

MapleStory Collateral Damage Collateral Damage (Passive)
Permanently increases critical rate and critical damage. Grants additional critical rate and critical damage against bosses.
LV1: +6% Critical Rate, +4% Critical Damage. +1% on both against Boss.
LV20: +15% Critical Rate, +10% Critical Damage. +20% on both against Boss.

MapleStory Relentless Relentless (Supportive)
Temporarily boost attack damage, abnormal status resistance and elemental resistance at the cost of lowering avoidability. Higher level increases the chance of triggering Stance Effect (preventing monster from knock-backing you when receiving damage).
LV1: -45 MP, +1% Attack, +21% Resistance and Stance, -15 Avoid, Lasts 66 sec.
LV30: -55 MP, +10% Attack, +40% Resistance and Stance, -300 Avoid, Lasts 180 sec.

MapleStory Counterattack Counterattack (Passive + Supportive)
Has a chance to temporarily increase damage upon being hit. Upon successfully triggering counter attack, this skill will cooldown for 50 seconds before it could be trigger again.
LV1: 4% chance to +6% Damage for 18 sec.
LV10: 40% chance to +15% Damage for 45 sec.

MapleStory Maple Warrior Maple Warrior (Supportive)
Temporarily boost all stats by percentage.
LV1: -10 MP, +1% All Stats, Lasts 30 sec.
LV30: -70 MP, +15% All Stats, Lasts 900 sec.

MapleStory Hero's Will Hero’s Will (Active)
Removes all status effects such as Cursed/Seduce.
LV1: -30 MP, Cooldown 600 sec.
LV5: -30 MP, Cooldown 360 sec.

Summary: Everything maxed.

Skill Build:
1. Add 1 SP into Rapid Fire, Suborbital Bombardment, and Brain Scrambler.
2. Max Double Down followed by Relentless, Collateral Damage and Counterattack.
3. Max Suborbital Bombardment followed by Maple Warrior and Rapid Fire.
4. Max Mighty Meteor, Starfall and Hero’s Will.

Explanation:
Suborbital Bombardment will be your primary attacking skill in 4th Job. You can switch to Rapid Fire if you wish to stay out from enemy line of fire. Add 1 SP into all 4 primary active skills so you can try them early. Max Supportive and Passive skills to boost all of your attacking skill damage before maxing primary skills. You can switch Rapid Fire with Starfall depending on the map you train. If you solo boss early, you might want to max Mighty Meteor for its extra damage boost against bosses.

Jett receives a weapon at every job advancement similarly to Demon Slayer. These equipment (Gauss Rifle and Core) can only be equipped and owned by Jett! The Core Fragment can level up to 4 times.
