The Doom 3: BFG Edition Developer Bethesda has announced that the Doom 3: BFG Edition scheduled to be launch on October 16, 2012 in North America and launched in Europe on October 19. The re-release of The original developer of this shooter game id Software will include the Doom 3 base game, and also the Resurrection of Evil expansion pack together with seven additional ‘Lost’ levels.

Doom 3, ‘The Lost Mission and Resurrection of Evil have been optimized in 3D in Doom 3: BFG Edition, with featuring 5.1 surround sound, PlayStation 3 trophies, Xbox 360 Achievements, improved lighting and rendering, and Doom 3: BFG Edition also features a new check point save system allowing for smoother progression through out the game,” Bethesda said in an email. “id Software has fine-tuned the controls to bring the intensity of the Doom single and multiplayer experience to the consoles, and Doom 3 now features the new armor-mounted flashlight, allowing players to illuminate dark corners and blast enemies at the same time.”

Doom 3: BFG Edition marks the first time that Doom 3 will be made available on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, giving a potentially new audience and fans of the game the chance to play one of the scariest and creepiest games in recent memory. In this new version of Doom 3: BFG Edition, you dont need to worry about encountering problems with an irritating flashlight mechanic, as in the Doom 3: BFG Edition the flashlight is mounted on your character’s armor. As we know before in the original version of the game, you had to actually switch between your guns and your flashlight, so you couldn’t use both at once. And that made the game more difficult to play.
